Dennis Lavia as the Difficult Model
Bob Mizer 's aptly depicted the relationship between artist and model
with the often employed Dennis Lavia (nineteen years old at the time) as the model and the otherwise
forgotten John Pilkington (who bears some physical resemblance to the photographer) as the painter, circa 1963, Los Angeles CA.
On closer inspection of the first two photos above, I"ve found that among the Painter's works displayed, scattered around the studio, are paintings by Dom Orejudos and George Quaintance, which would suggest that the well endowed Pilkington is meant to represent one or the other or both.
