
This post is devoted to the resuming of old themes; in this first case that of The Celebration of Neronian Splendor. Here I use my favorite model in the role of both the dreamer and the sacrificial offering.




It's possible that the following drawings may have some relationship to my feelings regarding President Barack Obama and his role as a Trojan Horse, given that the setting for this particular group is the White House Dining Room; but that really comes as an afterthought. I'm resuming a very old theme here, The Racehorse In An Elegant Interior, which is actually one that I began exploring more than twenty years ago. Of course, there are more to come. There always are.
