couple of these pictures are among the most frequently reproduced of
Ira’s psychedelic portraits, largely because of the wholly
understandable cult surrounding the music of the guitar player depicted
(though his cohorts need to be acknowledged here as well.) Of course
it’s also a matter of the perfect meeting of subject and form.
