Josephine Chaplin (1949 - 2023)
in the Canterbury Tales (Pier Paolo Pasolini, 1972) with Hugh Griffith & Oscar Fochetti in the Merchant's Tale, the first in the film, about a wealthy merchant who marries a much younger woman named May who takes a lover.
and star of Nuits Rouges (Georges Franju, 1974) written by and also starring Jacques Champreux (Louis Feuillade’s grandson) made for French television and cinemas, loosely based on Fantômas (Feuillade, 1913.) Franju's penultimate picture. Josephine Chaplin RIP.
