For Alfred Hitchcock’s 119th birthday I selected some photos from the set of one of my favorite British pictures, Stage Fright (1950), where (in seeming contradiction to legend) he appears to be directing the actors, Marlene Dietrich & Jane Wyman, as well as sharing a couple of smoking breaks with Marlene.
