The Cheap Art Store Posters & Manifestos Circa 1990-92
Before we opened the Cheap Art Store in February 1990 we wheatpasted posters all over the neighborhoods of San Francisco where artists and their supporters were likely to reside. The regular production of such posters, for the store and our many other concerns, continued for the next couple of years and dwindled rapidly after that time. These are some examples of the ones I designed and printed for a few of our various campaigns.
The short essays and the images I post to this blog tend to reflect my present interests and work. Occasionally I will present my own work in drawing or painting, but more often what one finds there are the sources for that work.
