from the novel by Charles Dickens
Sands Films Studio
Rotherhithe London England 1987
As
she begins shooting her eighth film, her first in sixteen years, and it
being the thirtieth anniversary of her best known, I thought it good
timing to post these pictures that were only recently put up on the
Sands Films website.  They of course all come from Edzard’s masterpiece,
Little Dorrit, which took her some four years to film.  The new film is based on the Good Soldier Schwejk
by Jaroslav Hašek and it will be made in her film studio, Sands Films,
in Rotherhithe, South London UK.  I’ve no idea how long it will take her
to make it, but I’m sure the result will be worth the effort and time.
 Her work always is.
