These are still life paintings that I made around fifteen years ago and never formally showed. Some of them I like very much. They are very much the result of bi-weekly visits to the Farmers' Market, long before I started working there. I hope they don't come off as being too precious. I had wanted to convey through these pictures the quality of my daily life during this particular period. If they fail as paintings it is only because they reflect the failures of my other efforts at that time, outside of Art.
